Our house is economic. Thermo-insulating resistance of the house is R=10.5 m2 K/W. Recuperative conditioning with the efficiency of 95 % is installed in the house. Therefore, a house of 150 square meters, including its qualitative conditioning, at -25oC temperature, needs only on average 2 kW electricity energy or alternative heating energy source. Heating season requires only 3 – 4 m3 of wood. That is twice less fuel input in comparison with the warmest houses currently built in Lithuania and 5 times less in comparison with the houses built until 1995.

The floor, walls, partitions and overlays of the house are produced inside the premises and are of the same system: wooden frame plated with OSB-3 plate, metallised polypropylene film membranes are used for heat and sound insulation. Conditioning system is connected to the fireplace capsule. Due to the whole system, furnace and other central heating equipment system is not necessary any more.

Wooden frame is produced from glued timber, therefore, timber is used more economically – having installed the production of briquettes from wood cuttings, a 100 % production without any waste is possible. Since the whole weight of the house does not exceed 50 tons, the houses have drilled substructure, made from light constructions. Consumption of the traditional construction materials is decreased to minimum. We use significantly less metals. Since 80 % of all the construction works are performed inside the premises, the dependence of work upon weather conditions and seasons is minimised. Building houses of such construction, the construction is quicker, pollution of the construction site is decreased; therefore, we decrease the construction expenditure by approximately 20 %. We become less dependent upon the imported materials and the changes in their prices. An opportunity is created to export almost ready-made construction products (constructions). 

Since the energy needs of such a house are small, in our opinion, it is expedient to mount small power wind or sun generators, for the house to become fully autonomous.

The materials of the houses comply completely with all health hygiene requirements. Metallised polypropylene film is allowed and used even in food industry. It is no longer necessary to “burn” family budget on heating, conditioning and ventilation. Moreover, all those things are maximally automatic. Having evaluated expenditure, quality of life and ecology, the notion of buying off and paying off is created.
